As a volunteer Graphic Designer for Pawsitive Match, I contribute to the organization's mission of animal rescue and adoption by creating visually compelling marketing materials. I design posters, digital graphics, and social media content using Adobe Creative Suite and Canva, supporting promotional efforts for adoption events and partnerships with local businesses. My work helps increase community engagement, raise awareness about pet adoption, and drive attendance to key fundraising and adoption events.
Metta Yoga Charity Event: A local Yoga business called Metta Yoga Calgary requested a partnership with Pawsitive Match. I was asigned to create a deisgn of their posters and social media posts for their charity yoga class event. In this event, participants have to contribute donations to join classes, and all donations go to Pawsitive Match Rescue. Not to violate our and their policies, I did my best to focus on using their brand colors, friendly shapes, appropriate themes for yoga classes, and correct information.
City Club Barbershop: A barbershop located in downtown Calgary approached us to collaborate on a donation initiative. I was responsible for designing an informational poster outlining the donation process and expressing gratitude to contributors. Additionally, I communicated the details of the initiative to customers visiting the barbershop for haircuts.
Advertisement: I was assigned to create a design for advertising our shelter. The design includes crucial information including donation information, adoption notices, newsletter, social media, and more.
